Teaching approach
A personalized approach adaptable from beginner to advanced levels, focused on conversation, listening, reading and writing.
Class format
Small groups — maximum 5 students per instructor — with real one-on-one time. Classes run Monday-Friday, mornings or afternoons, at Villas Jacquelina or the instructor's home classroom.
Location
Quepos and Manuel Antonio — direct access to beaches, hiking trails, waterfalls, adventure tours and wildlife right outside your classroom.
Meet Your Instructor
Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree in Education with Spanish-teaching certification (ELE) and has 18 years of experience teaching Spanish as a second language. She teaches through real communication and practical situations, and combines language instruction with cultural activities — including a weekly Costa Rican cooking class.
Spanish & Costa Rican Cooking Classes
Held once a week and included in the program price. Students prepare dishes like empanadas, patacones and ceviche while building practical vocabulary and talking about Costa Rican culture — a fun, pressure-free way to practice what you've learned.
